Primordial Percussion's Stratford based community drum circle promoting African drumming in a drum circle format. All levels of experience are welcome. Traditional African drumming techniques will be learned and practiced at each event. Djembe drums and various percussion equiptment is available for those who do not own their own drum. All types of hand drums and percussion instruments are welcome. It is recommended that all interested hand drummers use the Meet-Up website. This keeps everyone well informed of dates, cancellations and other information. Currently all these drum circle events are held on Saturday nights at Studio Oasis which is located at 291 Lorne Ave. East Stratford, Ontario. Just click above to become a member.

The following djembe drums by Primordial Percussion are being sold at reduced prices for the following reasons;
- cracks (minor or major) in most cases just cosmetic
- scratch and dent (usually from transporting from Africa or summer time festivals)
- overstocked or outdated

Canadian Made Drumcircle Drum
Tubano Drum (11"x23")
Special Price $75
Used drumcircle drum.  Fitted with goathide and made from solid oak. Has been used for a number of years in my drumcircles. Skin is alittle used and has some small holes in it, shell is solid and has had a few repairs done to it over the years. This drum still has many years of play left in it.
 
Reason for discounting.
1. Replacing with newer models.
2. I find it to heavy to lug around with me.

Ghana Djembes Drum
Primordial Percussion Handmade African Djembe(12"x23")

Brand new djembe drum.  Fitted with premium goathide from BurkinoFaso and has been shaved by hand.  Roping is excellent USA quality.  The shell is made from Tweenaboawood and was handcarved in Ghana by special order. Well tuned and sounds great.

1. Scratch and Dent.

Primordial Percussion Handmade Djembe( 7"x 17")

Brand new djembe drum.  Handmade by Primordial Percussion in 2009.  Fitted with premium goathide from Guinea and has been shaved by hand.   The shell has been handcarved from tweenaboawood in Ghana.  The goatskin has been attached using glue and staples.

Brand new drum.  Handmade by Primordial Percussion in 2008.  Fitted with premium goatskin from BurkinoFaso and has been shaved by hand.  Drumhead is tacked on with glue and staples. Basically had an old woodshell laying around which I attached a drumskin over.

Fibreglas Darabuka Drum
Indonesian Fibreglas Darabuka Drum (9"x18")

Brand new darabuka drum.  Fitted with premium goathide from BurkinoFaso. The shell is made from fibreglas and has material and coating wrapped around it.
Reason for discounting.
1. Missing a hexnut. Skin is still tight and the tuning still works. You should be able to source another nut at a bolt and fastener store.
